Prioritisation of software requirements is a critical part of the development of software. Whichrequirements and in which order they will be developed is one of the main tasks that requirementprioritisation supports.There are different ways that a requirement prioritisation can be used, for example alone or in agroup and with different methods.The purpose of this report is to map out how you can carry out a requirement prioritisation alonewith different types of prioritisation methods and how you solve the problems that can arise whenprioritisting requirements. This is done by documenting the use of three different types of methodsthat can be execute alone. The methods are "100-dollar test", "Ranking" and "Top-tenrequirements".To be able to prioritise requirements, you need to establish which requirements you shall prioritise.The paper retrieves this information by interviewing stakeholders in the system and analysing theresult of the interviews and the execution of the requirement prioritisation.Three problems arose during that work and I present solutions on these problems. Today automatic milking systems (AMS) are growing in popularity. In these systems the cows are loose and have to get to the robot and the feed on their own. The cows ranking in this system affect their welfare. In this study data from seven years in an AMS was used and analysed. The aim was to investigate how ranking could affect the behaviour of the cows at milking and at feeding.

Small scale internal consumer tests provide a company with a cheap way to get valuable information regarding their products advantages and flaws. Therefore the demand for possibilities to do this kind of test has increased. This report is part of a new sensory project at Unilever. It presents a method for sensory comparison of the company?s own products with the corresponding competitor products.

In today?s world there are plenty of technological tools and methods available with the purpose to increase peoples motivation for a healthier lifestyle. One such tool is a so-called activity tracker which uses sensors to log the user's everyday life and present it as automatic feedback. Gamification is a new and successful method to motivate and engage people in fulfilling tasks by using game elements and mechanics. In this study, five participants were instructed to use the activity tracker and pedometer Fitbit Flex daily for three weeks. Halfway through the study the participants were ranked and listed against each other in a ranking list in order to evoke competition.

The purpose of this MSc thesis is to examine the retrieval effectiveness of two Web search engines with queries from the academic discipline of Classical Studies. The two search engines are chosen to represent two different types Google as a broad general search engine and Argos as a specialised search engine for the subject of Classical Studies. The search engines are compared for precision among the first twenty results returned for thirty queries. In order to avoid bias in the study, the queries are based on real users' information needs. Due to the subjective character of the concept of relevance, the study is performed with five different experiments with five different definitions of relevance.

There has been an increasing interest for ranking of Swedish health care and a lot of emphasis has been placed on the creation of indicators in order to rank hospital units. However, essays on to what extent the choice of statistical method affects the final result of the ranking of health care units have not been given the same attention. For this particular reason, the main objective of this essay has been to investigate whether the choice of statistical model has a significant impact or not on the final result, by using five different, more or less common, statistical approaches: bar charts (with and without confidence intervals), control charts, logistic regression, multi-level analysis using shrunken residuals. The analyzed material in the essay comprises 24119 patients that all have been prescribed some form of the lipid-reducing medicine statin. According to directives given by Region Skåne, doctors are encouraged to prescribe a particular type of statin medicine, namely Simvastatin, which has been proved to be equally effective, but significantly cheaper than other statin medicines.

The purpose with this essay is to evaluate the retrieval performance between Googles basic search and the advanced search functions. A secondary purpose is to evaluate the differences between the binary relevance scale and a 4- point scale. The basic search is defined as a search with two terms combined with the Boolean operator AND. The advanced search is based on search functions that are adequate to compare to the basic search. They are categorized as AND-searches, OR-searches, AND and OR-searches, exact phrase, and depending on where the terms occur on the page.

Syfte:Syftet med studien är att se om ett samband förekommer mellan Moody?s ranking och beräkningar utförda med en modifierad modell av Merton för ett visst antal europeiska företag. Syftet är vidare att dra slutsatser och tolkningar vad gäller tillförlitligheten och relevansen kring att använda den modifierade Merton modellen som ett kreditmått. Metod:Tillvägagångssättet för att erhålla resultatet för studien går ut på att för sju olika europeiska länder välja sju företag för respektive land. Utifrån de valda företagen har historisk data insamlats i form av aktiekurs och skulddata vilka är utgångspunkten för de beräkningar som utförs med en modifierad Merton modell.

Vid bedömning av finansiering till lantbruksföretag har ett kunskapsgap uppmärksammats mellan banksektorn och lantbrukssektorn. Vi har avgränsat oss till området grisproduktion. Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka vilka produktionsnyckeltal som har störst relevans för en lönsam samt konkurrenskraftig grisproduktion och som expertisen anser ha störst betydelse vid kreditbedömning. För att få fram vilka dessa nyckeltal är har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer. För att få en bred uppfattning om vilka de mest relevanta nyckeltalen är vid kreditbedömning har vi använt oss utav flera informantgrupper. I intervjuerna har informanterna fått ranka produktionsnyckeltal mellan 1 till 10 utifrån nyckeltalets relevans vid kreditbedömning. Den totala rankingen sammanräknades och de nyckeltalen med högst totalranking antogs ha störst relevans med en lönsam och konkurrenskraftig grisproduktion. Vi valde informanter inom Götaland och inom diverse yrkesroller inom grisnäringen. Det nyckeltal inom smågrisproduktion som fick högst ranking var Producerade smågrisar/ årssugga och anses av expertisen ha störst relevans för en lönsam samt konkurrenskraftig grisproduktion och ha störst betydelse vid kreditbedömning. Det nyckeltal som fick näst högst ranking var Antal avvanda/ kull. Det nyckeltal inom slaktsvinsproduktionen som fick högst ranking var Tillväxt, g/dag och MJ per kg tillväxt och anses av expertisen ha störst relevans för en lönsam samt konkurrenskraftig grisproduktion och ha störst betydelse vid kreditbedömning. Nyckeltalet som fick näst högst ranking var Slaktvikt, kg. I resultatet av studien kom vi fram till att vissa nyckeltal var viktigare än andra när det gäller dess relevans att undersöka nyckeltalet närmare vid en kreditbedömning.

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av en webbapplikation för visualisering av rankingdata över tid åt SESNordic AB i Vilhelmina. Applikationen är skriven i PHP och läser in data från antingen en Excel- eller CSV-fil. Vissa beräkningar görs på indatat och resultatet visas sedan i grafer. Den färdiga resultatrapporten kan sedan skickas till kunden som inbäddad HTML eller exporteras till en PDF-fil.Nuvarande programvaran som SESNordic använder vid sina analyser av ranking, Web CEO, har en bristfällig funktionalitet när det gäller grafvisualisering. Dess rankingdata visas i tabellform med en lista på sökorden och dess nuvarande rank.

Test is an area in system development. Test can be performed manually or automated. Test activities can be supported by Word documents and Excel sheets for documenting and executing test cases and as well for follow up, but there are also new test tools designed to support and facilitate the testing process and the activities of the test. This study has described manual test and identified strengths and weaknesses of manual testing with a testing tool called Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and of manual testing using test cases and test log templates developed by the testers at Sogeti. The result that emerged from the problem and strength analysis and the analysis of literature studies and firsthand experiences (in terms of creating, documenting and executing test cases) addresses the issue of the following weaknesses and strengths.

Test bench for air bearingsThis thesis work consisted of bringing forward and defining the test parameters relevant for a test bench and constructing a test bench that can test and verify the largest existing air bearings that are of use in Micronic Laser Systems AB machines. Because the knowledge about air bearings is limited it is thought that with the help of the test bench the knowledge would increase and in that way improve the air bearings.After learning more about air bearings and their purpose at Micronic Laser Systems AB, I started the concept phase for the test bench. For each part in the test bench I consulted my two tutors, Torbjörn Hedevärn and Johan Bergqvist, at Micronic Laser Systems AB. The final concepts where documented as 3D-modells in Solidworks and some of them have been tested in Solidworks FEM-program.The test bench is designed so that, with the help of a pneumatic cylinder, 25 kilo weights are placed on the air bearing to test its stiffness, damping and the pressure performance under its surface area. To test these parameters the test bench has to have a pressure meter, accelerometer and a microcator.

This paper investigates the usability of the intelligence test Wechsler Nonverbal Scale of Ability (WNV). Twenty four children in two different age-groups were tested with WNV, 10 children between ages 5 - 6, and 14 children between ages 9 - 10. The WNV turned out to be a useful test when some verbal communication was used in the test situation. This was especially apparent among the younger children, who needed extra verbal instructions and verbal support through the different subtests. The test also contained standardized verbal instructions for all ages.

A personality test is a useful tool in recruitment contexts. Studies have shown that participants distort their answers in a socially desirable manner. The purpose of this study was to investigate if people respond more or less socially desirable depending on how they rate themselves in a personality test, based on the "big five" personality dimensions.Eighty people, (40 women and 40 men), 19-42 years, (M= 24,1 SD= 3,76) rated themselves on a personality test. Group one, (20 women and 20 men) completed the test on paper. Group two, (20 women and 20 men) completed the test verbally.

This is a study of the national test in 3rd grade. The national test is obligatory and is conducted in 5th and 9th grade, but since the spring of 2009 the tests also become mandatory in 3rd grade. The case study of this research is to find out how children in 3rd grade perceive the purpose of the national test. The survey should also clarify how students think and feel about the national test, and how they feel before the national test and after they have finished writing the test. Has the test positive or negative influence on children? The survey will also show how much teachers clarify what the significance of the national test is for the students.
